Jember Fashion Carnaval

Jember Fashion Carnaval ( JFC) in an annual fashion carnaval held in Jember, east java. This year, the JFC has been counted the seventh. Usually at most thousands visitors come to see this celebration, from local tourists to foreigners.
Held on August the 3rd, the JFC this year is taken ' World Evolution' as title, and performed into nine defiles. The themes are various too, from the Papua archipelago until the human robot.

A little bit different from the previous events, this year the JFC performed NOT only fashion parades, but also provide the marching band.
"This year we give the audiences with different concepts, so people here not only able to enjoy musics, but also the eye-catching performances of the marching-bands" says Dynand Fariz, the president of Jember Fashion Carnaval Council ( JFCC).

The convoy started by

• Archipelago Papua,
• Barricade ( depiction of the police and security team )
• Off Earth ( condition of earth-people which almost completely in plastic)
• Gate-11 ( depiction of an international airprot waiting room, fulfilled with various citizen from various country)
• Root (depiction of illegal logging)
• Metamorphic (depiction metamorphoses of evil to good )
• Undersea (depiction of the beauty of sea bottom)
  

There are at least 550 participant getting involved in this parade, fight over some trophy provided by the commitee, namely the JFC Award, Best Costum Award, Unique Costum Award, Best Presenter and Best Performance. Read more!
